CypressTel has become a member of the Trusted Edge Computing Initiatives (TEI), launched by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). The aim of this initiative is to promote trustworthy edge computing. The announcement was made during the "2022 Summit Forum on Digital Transformation and Development" held in Beijing on August 10th. This forum showcased ideas and achievements related to digital transformation and was a significant industry event.
During the forum, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering highlighted in his keynote speech that China's edge computing industry is experiencing rapid development. He emphasized the strong top-level policy support, continuous technological advancements such as 5G and IoT, and the increasing deployment of edge computing systems across various industries.
The Trusted Edge Computing Initiatives, launched by CAICT's Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute, aims to bring together industry, academia, research institutions, and users to conduct industrial research, technological advancements, standard formulation, testing and verification, supply-demand alignment, industrial promotion, and ecosystem construction. The goal is to promote the development of edge technologies, accelerate industry application implementation, and build a trusted and open-edge ecosystem.
CypressTel was selected as one of the first 100 member organizations after an independent application and expert evaluation. In the future, CypressTel aims to actively participate in the relevant work of the Trusted Edge Computing Initiatives by leveraging its strengths. The company intends to promote the development and innovation of edge computing technology, expand industrial implementation practices, inject new momentum into the integrated development of the edge computing industry, and accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises.
