The customer is a well-known education institution with 12 locations in Mainland China. Many of their users rely on the institution's network for internet access to overseas websites. However, the previous infrastructure caused poor network performance, which negatively affected the users' experience. CypressTel came to the rescue with a hybrid WAN integrated with a WAN acceleration platform to ensure consistent end-to-end connectivity among various customer sites, the internet, SaaS, and clouds.

The network services and connection to remote systems were often degraded due to unstable internet connections.

  Customers frequently experienced disruptions in connectivity, session restarts, lagged content streaming and downloads, and slow speeds, which significantly impacted their day-to-day work.

  The current point-to-point network configuration was inefficient and expensive for numerous locations.

• A versatile and highly resilient access solution

  SD-WAN edge devices were installed at customer locations with two internet access media from two local operators. The intelligent engine in the devices monitored both media dynamically and selected the better one to pass the traffic. This ensured high service quality and consistency even in the face of network disruptions, thanks to CypressTel's high-speed and resilient backbone.

• A high-speed and secure cross-border network
  CypressTel's premium DIA platform resolved the customer's traffic congestion issues. It accelerated access to overseas internet sites and SaaS platforms, providing customers with high-quality internet access at lower latency. Packet drops were largely eliminated, resulting in better performance.

  
  

• A cost-effective hybrid WAN solution
  A graphical GUI-based centralized management portal made it easy to configure and monitor a large number of customer sites, simplifying network deployment and operations. The hybrid WAN solution allowed for the use of dual internets for access with MPLS-level quality but at a much cheaper cost. Customers could also scale up for more network capacity efficiently.
